2A: Sacred Warnings
You've spent enough time observing the Mormon settlers to understand their deep connection to the name Kolob – their own sacred star near God's throne. Using this knowledge feels like walking a knife's edge between protection and manipulation, but you sense it may be the most effective path.
Moving under cover of night, you begin your work. Near their meetinghouse, you carefully etch ancient N'hava symbols that closely resemble those mentioned in their religious texts. The crystalline formations you wear pulse softly as you work, lending an ethereal glow to the carvings that will last until dawn.
Your efforts soon bear fruit. The next morning, you watch from your hidden vantage point as the town's religious leaders gather around your handiwork. The professor is there too, his scientific curiosity clearly warring with his own faith as he sketches the symbols.
But something unexpected occurs – one of the elders, an older man with keen eyes, begins to interpret the symbols with unsettling accuracy. Not their true N'hava meaning, but something close enough to give you pause. Perhaps these settlers have their own connection to ancient truths.
How will you guide their growing religious interest in the area?
Choice A: Deepen the Mystery
Create elaborate signs that mix N'hava wisdom with their religious symbolism, establishing Kolob as a place too sacred to disturb.
Choice B: The Prophet's Dream
Use the Life Stream to influence the dreams of their religious leaders, sending visions that warn against disturbing the ancient sites.
Faith can build walls or bridges. Choose carefully which you intend.
